It's been a great summer so far, but sadly it's approaching its end. Classes start in three weeks, and while I am, admittedly, twiddling my thumbs, I'm not ready to go back to the daily grind of buses, hauling heavy supplies, and the chaos of the city.

The temperatures already feel like fall, and I keep thinking that there were so many things I wanted to do this summer that I never did...I was going to finish at least three paintings...I'm not sure how that's going to work out with the time I have left...This is always the crunch time of summer for me when I suddenly find motivation that I wish I'd had back in May.

In other news, I have finished my epic and very long fanfiction, "The Summoned Land" and am now on a bit of a hiatus, drawing plans for the upcoming round of fanfictions. And as I am currently in an emotional slump of equally epic and doomful proportions, most of those will probably be filled with large amounts of angst >_>

But...the wheel keeps on turning. Hopefully things will get better, and this fall brings a happier season in my life than previous semesters...

(plus, returning to campus means consistent access to high speed internet, and therefore more artwork posting on my part)
